DDM Irrigation

DDM has over 30 years of experience in residential irrigation and commercial projects including athletic fields. The company was started in 1987 by two brothers, Dan and Dave, following the completion of their college educations. Dan has a degree in horticulture and geography while Dave has a business administration degree. We are proud of the fact that we are a family owned company that is known for quality workmanship and attention to detail as well as excellent customer service after the installation. Why choose us

Before installation, we walk through your property to study it, its environment, and the existing landscape. This helps us create a clear image of the design that will suit your specific property. We will do our best to give you an estimate that will suit your budget and your needs. We will also provide you with literature and information on the products we use.

We offer a one year warranty on the irrigation system installation. This is an extra assurance that you will be getting what you want out of your system. It will also cover the winterization of the irrigation system in the fall and the start up and testing of the system in the spring. We will continue working with you during that warranty period and beyond to make sure you are happy with the system we installed.

Drainage and drain tile work

Melting snow and heavy rains are expected when we live in Iowa. Standing water in your yard and wet basements can be very frustrating and costly. If you have an area in your yard that has these issues, give us a call. We will use proper grading and drain tile installation to help improve or eliminate these issues. We will take a look at the project, tell you your options for the best solution, and give you an estimate on the project.

Backflow Testing

A backflow preventer is used to protect water supplies from contamination due to backflow. Backflow happens when there is a failure or reduction of maintained pressure in the water supply system. Federal law requires that one is installed on all irrigation systems and that this device be tested every year. DDM has six personnel that are certified to test backflow preventer devices and make repairs if needed. We will test the device, fill out the paperwork, and get it submitted to the proper authority.

After Installation Service

We pride ourselves in service after the installation. If something is not working properly, or needs adjusting, we will send out one of our qualified technicians to take a look at the problem, and resolve the issue in a timely manner. Our technicians have been with us for several years and are extremely capable and qualified. They can answer any questions you might have.
